Alley Cat Angels is a Non-Profit
Trap-Neuter-Return Organization

Alley Cat Angels is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization comprised of local volunteers who are dedicated to actively addressing the overpopulation of homeless cats and kittens through a humane and effective feral cat management program known as Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).

Since our inception in July of 2002, we have worked tirelessly toward our goal of reducing the overwhelming number of feral and stray cats who live outdoors in Battle Creek and the rest of Calhoun County, Michigan.  To accomplish this seemingly impossible task, 3,921 cats have been sterilized and vaccinated, with 356 since January 2010 alone thanks to the efforts of Alley Cat Angels volunteers and the generous donations of supportive individuals.

Alley Cat Angels' mission is to reduce the suffering of the feral cat population through spaying/neutering. We do not support euthanasia as a means of population control.   We have chosen Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) as our means of accomplishing our goal.
